UK GROUP ALUMNI - A private guided discovery tour through 300 years of violin making - April 25th, 2024

Dear Alumni,

The Association invites you to an exclusive evening of discovery: a private tour through the world of violin making and restoring with renowned luthier Robert Brewer Young. This unique opportunity will delve into the fascinating world of violin making, taking place within the historic workshop and vault of John and Arthur Beare, notable violin dealers and restorers in London. 

Immerse yourself in history and artistry:          

·       Connect with peers: Begin the evening with fellow alumni over a champagne reception and light bites.

 

·       Gain insights from a master: Mr. Young will share his expertise, guiding you through the intricate process of crafting and preserving these exceptional instruments.

 

·       Unveiling treasures: Gain access to the vault, housing a collection of exceptionally rare and exquisite violins and other instruments including exquisite Stradivari pieces.

 

·       Music comes alive: The evening culminates in a captivating performance by a concert violinist playing a Stradivarius.

 

·       Limited opportunity: This intimate event is restricted to 17 attendees.
