With Eric Garandeau, Director of Public Affairs at TikTok France

The Media Group is delighted to invite you to the upcoming meeting of the HEC Alumni Media & Entertainment Club, featuring Eric Garandeau, Director of Public Affairs at TikTok France.

Eric Garandeau spearheads partnerships in the cultural and educational sectors at TikTok France, collaborating with events such as the Cannes Film Festival, Paris Book Fair, and various educational institutions.

A graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and an ENA Finance Inspector, he has held roles including advisor to the Minister of Culture, advisor to the President of the Republic, President of the National Center of Cinematography (CNC), and advisor to the Director of Military Intelligence. He also served as President of Garandeau Consulting, overseeing projects such as the creation of the Youth Culture Pass, renovation of film studios in Nice and Bry-sur-Marne, and the launch of the Women in Motion program in partnership with Kering and the Cannes Film Festival.

Among his other endeavors, Eric co-founded the symphonic orchestra Les Dissonances in 2004 and established the Lumières d'Europe academy with violinist David Grimal. He is also the author of two novels published by Albin Michel, "Tapis Rouge" in 2019 and "Galerie des Glaces" in 2021. Additionally, he holds the rank of Frigate Captain in the National Navy Reserve, serves as an administrator of the Higher Technical Commission for Image and Sound, and is a member of the Académie des César.
