Thomas Friang has been appointed Executive Director of ESSEC Business School's Geopolitics & Business Institute, a position he has held since April 2025. Thomas reports directly to Anne-Claire Pache, Associate Dean, Strategy and Community Involvement. He is responsible for developing the Geopolitics & Business Institute on all ESSEC campuses (Cergy, La Défense, Singapore, Rabat).
Thomas Friang has been appointed Advisor for strategic communications to the minister for development at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, in this position since October 2023. Thomas Friang, MPA - ENS Paris (2012), master management - ESCP Business School (2011), has completed the following career path:

* 2023 - 2024: Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Advisor for strategic communications to the minister for development.

* 2025: ESSEC Business School, Executive Director of the Geopolitics & Business Institute
