GROUPE OCCITANIE - Discovery of plot 473

As part of the activities of the Groupe Alumni Grandes Ecoles and on the initiative of EDHEC Alumni, we are organizing a cultural outing to discover Parcelle 473, a museum of urban and contemporary art.

PARCEL 473, kezako?
We've already heard of the Musée Fabre, the MOCO... And now a new urban and contemporary art center, Parcelle 473, is opening its doors in 2022, with the idea of making art accessible to all, breaking away from an overly elitist milieu, and creating links through art.
Laurent Rigail from Montpellier, a contemporary art enthusiast and gallery owner in Paris and Seoul, has transformed the family winery into a 300 m2 exhibition space. Of the 90-hectare vineyard estate founded by his grandfather, only Parcel 473 remains!
So it was with urban art, a formidable link for our society and a vector of solidarity, that the project was born.
According to Laurent Rigail, "Street art is a major movement in the history of art today. Artists tackle subjects that reflect our world", hence the creation of this unique venue.
Laurent Rigail himself, owner of the premises and creator of this space dedicated to urban art (Street Art), will take us on a tour of the temporary collection (M. Chat, alias Thomas Vuille, street artistrecognized by the leaders of the Europeanstreet artscene ). and the permanent collection, comprising over 100 works, in a unique setting .
Visits start at 6.30pm, but you are welcome to arrive at any time.
At the end of the visit, you'll be able to share a few platters of charcuterie/cheese and vegetarian dishes, accompanied by a glass of wine from the estate.
