The Finance Group is delighted to invite you to its next breakfast with Valérie RAOUL-DESPREZ (ESCP 87) , who will be sharing her experience in sustainable finance to promote social and societal actions and human capital in companies.

After graduating from ESCP, Valérie Raoul-Desprez joined the internal audit department of the Rhône Poulenc group in 1987, in France and the United States, where she created the function. In 1993, she was appointed Financial Director of Rhône-Poulenc Chimie France, then Director of Controlling for the sector which a few years later became the RHODIA group. She then held several financial positions as Business Partner before being appointed Group Financial Controller in 2003.

In 2007, she joined the Dassault Systèmes Group, leader in software for the design, modeling and simulation of products and services using virtual twins, as Group Finance and Purchasing Director. For 15 years, she led a number of transformation projects, accompanying the internal and external growth of the DASSAULT SYSTEMES group, which grew from 1 billion in sales to 5 billion during this period and joined the CAC40.

In January 2023, she took on new responsibilities as EVP Finance and Sustainable Purchasing and member of the Risk Committee, both to accelerate the Group's decarbonation trajectory, but also to build an extra-financial performance management system that meets the global challenges of sustainability and, in the short term, the new reporting requirements of the European Union. She is also a sponsor of the WeCareForYourHealth initiative, which aims to improve work/health balance within the Group.

At the beginning of 2023, she was also appointed to the board of directors of the national association of financial and management control managers (DFCG) and took over the chairmanship of the association's CSR Group.
