EASTERN EUROPE GROUP - Dinner with Jean-Pierre Raffarin

Central Asia, Russia and Europe in the Chinese-American Cold War

The Groupe Europe de l'Est is delighted to invite you to its next dinner at Les Noces de Jeannette, where Jean-Pierre Raffarin will discuss Central Asia, Russia and Europe in the face of the SinoAmerican Cold War.
Prime Minister under Jacques Chirac from 2002 to 2005, Jean-Pierre Raffarin is now President of Leaders for Peace (an NGO created to warn of the risks of war) and of the Fondation Prospective et Innovation (a think-tank focusing on economic relations with China and Africa).
Program for the evening:
  • 6:45pm: Welcome and aperitif
  • 7:45pm: Start of dinner
  • 10:00 pm: End of meeting and final exchanges between participants
Registration and sanitary conditions:
  • Online registration only and limited number of places (40).
  • Health pass must be presented at restaurant entrance (smartphone QR code or paper proving double vaccination within the last 2 weeks or negative PCR test within the last 72 hours or certificate of recovery from Covid-19 infection). No entry without health pass.
  • The aperitif will be served seated at a table, with the seating plan displayed at the entrance (tables spaced 1.5m apart).
  • Masks must be worn every time you enter the restaurant.
  • Refunds will be possible in the event of unforeseen circumstances until Thursday September 17, 12 noon.
We are aware that the health situation will affect our meeting, and we thank you for your understanding.
For those of you who are abroad - and whose experience is invaluable to us - but also to give everyone a chance to get our next meetings are scheduled for Mondays, December 6, 2021, March 14, June 13, September 26 and December 5, 2022.
We remind you that the Group is also yours: if you have any suggestions for greater efficiency and better communication, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
