[Start-up Stories] Emma Pariente (MiM 22), Co-founder & CEO, AI Sisters
Discover the entrepreneurial journey of Emma, with the key milestones in AI Sistersβ growth and her best advice for taking the leap.
First, a short introduction to Emma and AI Sisters...
"My sister Chloé and I co-founded AI Sisters, a company specializing in training and consulting in generative AI.
In just a year and a half, we’ve already trained over 15,000 employees in France and internationally, mostly within large corporations (Accor, JCDecaux, Engie, BPCE, and Webedia.)
Our mission: to democratize the use of AI across all business functions. We combine ultra-practical pedagogy, a bold and playful tone, and a strong brand identity (we show up all in pink, even in front of 200 finance pros from CAC 40 companies!)."
π What inspired you to become an entrepreneur? How did your start-up idea come about?
"After ESCP, I started my career in finance, but the urge to create quickly caught up with me. I launched a digital agency where I started experimenting with AI tools. When generative AI emerged in late 2022, I was among the first to test it extensively in my daily tasks and I immediately saw its potential.
As a highly connected female entrepreneur, I was struck by the huge gap between what I was experiencing... and what companies still didn’t know. That’s when I had a strong intuition, almost a sense of urgency, to launch AI Sisters."
π How did your time at ESCP influence your entrepreneurial journey?
"At ESCP, I was mostly focused on finance, thinking that would be my career path. But it was the network, student associations, and the chance to create tangible projects that nurtured my entrepreneurial spirit. Being president of a student association taught me how to manage, experiment, and persuade.
Even if my courses weren’t focused on entrepreneurship, I gained solid financial discipline, which is invaluable for running my business today. ESCP also gave me credibility: having that name on my CV gave me the confidence to launch my venture at a young age."
π What were the pivotal moments in developing your business?
"The first moment was the launch: my sister and I had to lead an AI training session for 120 people… but we’d never done it at that scale! We came up with the name, the logo, and the whole offer in one evening.
The second big moment is now. We’re in full acceleration mode: over 15 000 people trained, dozens of major companies supported, AI engineers deploying copilots and agents for our clients, and a brand identity that’s getting noticed. We’re shifting from a project driven by intuition and energy to a structured company facing structuring, recruitment, and scalability challenges."
π Is there a key decision you would make differently?
"Honestly, no. Even when I made bad decisions, it always led me to something better afterwards. Sometimes it’s stressful, or you feel like you wasted time… but really, you gain clarity, character, and insight.
So no, I’d do it all over again — even the tough parts. But this time, I’d be less afraid and more confident about the future."
π If you had one piece of advice for future ESCP entrepreneurs, what would it be?
"Do it, even if you’re scared. I didn’t fully believe in it at first and everything happened so fast. When you have a good product, high quality, and you love what you do, there’s no reason it won’t work. At AI Sisters, we train big corporates in generative AI, we walk into rooms full of senior finance executives — all dressed in pink — and it works. We break the rules, we have a goot time, and most importantly: they remember us.
That’s our strength: boldness, sincerity, expertise… and a strong image that reflects who we are."
