At our last friendly get-together in September 2012, 22 ESCP Europe members and spouses met at Château de VAUGAUDRY at the home of CHINON producer Marc BELLOY (47).
We were able to taste several vintages, some of which won medals at the Paris agricultural competition.
(See overleaf for the report on this wonderful day, which appeared in the January issue of ESCP Europe Magazine).
For the first half of 2013, in order to maintain and develop the ESCP Europe spirit of camaraderie and solidarity, and thanks to the friendly collaboration of Jean-Claude GIRARD (64) and Philippe CHAUDRON (63), I'd like to introduce you to the activities of CHATEAUROUX Airport (Indre).

Châteauroux airport is an industrial airport specializing in freight and aircraft maintenance. Thanks to its 3,500 m long runway and atypical traffic patterns enabling very short positioning times, it is also Europe's No. 1 site for pilot training in take-off and landing procedures.
Numerous airlines, the air forces of several European countries and the manufacturer Airbus come to Châteauroux at weekends and on weekdays, and carry out an average of 8 to 10 touch-and-go flights per hour.

FRIDAY APRIL 12, 2013 at 5pm
Presentation of activities at CHATEAUROUX Airport (Indre)

5pm: Welcome of participants
17h15 : Presentation by Daniel COMPAIN (Chargé de mission auprès du directeur général et Responsable sûreté de l' Châteauroux Airport) on the history and various activities of Châteauroux Airport.
6:15pm: Visit to the airport's control tower (accessible by elevator for people with reduced mobility), where we'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the airport, Châteauroux and the surrounding area.
7.45pm: Dinner at "La Manufacture" (gastronomic restaurant of the "Best Western" Hotel in Châteauroux)

Participation in the dinner: 35 € /pers for ESCP Europe members up to date with their membership fees.
