At our last friendly get-together in May 2012, 14 ESCP Europe Alumni and spouses took part in a visit to Châteauroux Airport. For our outing in the second half of 2013, in order to maintain and develop the spirit of ESCPian camaraderie and solidarity, and thanks to the friendly collaboration ofAndré BRABANT (Executive MBA 2012), I'd like to invite you to visit the GUERLAIN factory in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir), on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 13 at 4:30 pm.

Established in the Eure-et-Loir region since 1973, GUERLAIN, a heavyweight in the cosmetics industry, manufactures 25 million skincare and make-up products every year at its plant in the Edmond-Poillot industrial zone in Chartres, in the heart of "Cosmetic Valley". This visit will be an opportunity to get to know this prestigious brand better, and to discover the manufacturing processes for lipsticks and other beauty products.
After a meal in one of the private lounges of the "Grand Monarque" hotel, and for those who wish, André will guide us through the streets of Chartres to admire the monuments illuminated for the tenth edition of "Chartres en Lumières".

Program
4:30 pm: Welcome of participants
4:45 pm: Briefing on the LVMH group, its activities and the tour.
5.15pm: Visit to the GUERLAIN production site by Mr Jean-Christophe Goursaud (Site Manager).
Please note that women must not wear jewelry or heels. Visitors will be protected by lab coats and hairnets.
6:30pm: End of tour
7:30pm: Dinner in the Cordoue lounge of the "Grand Monarque" hotel in Chartres.
10:00 pm: Visit to the illuminated monuments of Chartres city center for the tenth edition of "Chartres en Lumières".

Participation in the dinner: 40€ for subscribers / 50€ for non-subscribers.
