Becoming a member of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of ESCP Alumni steers the major directions of the Association. With up to 21 elected members, it meets approximately every six weeks to discuss, decide, and launch key strategic initiatives, working closely with the General Delegation.

How to submit your candidacy?

At the beginning of each year, a call for applications is sent to the Association’s contributing members through various channels (email, magazine, website). Any interested Alumni can then submit a cover letter addressed to the President of the Board.

Two key moments:

The Delegates Celebration: Each candidate presents their ambitions, vision, and ideas in a brief speech to the delegates, commission members, and the current Board of Directors. The Delegates’ College then establishes a preferred list based on the number of seats available.

The General Assembly: The preferred list is subsequently put to a vote at the annual General Assembly, traditionally held in June, prior to the Summer Party.

If there are more candidates than available positions, the preferred list is supplemented by the general list of candidates.

Who can apply?

All Alumni who wish to commit themselves to serving their community! Whether through association experience, an international perspective, a desire to innovate, or knowledge of the network… every expertise is valuable.
